Wisdom House (2016)

Becoming a single co-parent I began working as a Motion Designer to both provide stability for my Daughter, and to supplement my Arts Practice. Whilst I had to give up some of my time up to create commercial work, It also provided me with a freedom within my practice that I hadn't felt for a long time. Intially I encountered gaps between contracts, thus I had to pay fortnighly visits to JobcentrePlus on Lemma Road in Leytonstone. If you hadnt found work within 4 weeks, they put you on a scheme where you had to volunteer with one of their designated partners. The scheme was inline to be abandoned, yet I was included in the very last Co-hort. If you didn't turn up on time, you would lose your right to claim any benefits. I was 'sent' to Wisdom House in Chadwell Heath, Romford. Faced with the prospect of sitting on my hands, and cleaning toilets for two weeks, I voluntered to make them a free Motion Graphic about there organisation. Voila.
