The brief called for a generic Title Intro & Outro sting that could be used across all Mooc courses, and further for other non course related promotional videos. Senate House is an Iconic building on Londons eyeline with a remakable history. It was once the tallest building in London, and the first to surpass the dome of St. Pauls as Academia knowledge figuratively began to tower over religous texts. Had the Nazi's won the second world war, Hitler had already earmarked it as his perfect symmetrical HQ. It has appeared in numerous films, the exterior having been tranformed into Gotham city for a Batman movie, and its unique interior had appearied in countless period films. Thus it seemed natural to focus on the building for this sting to represent the University of London, and also to highlight pedal power over the automobile to bring it up to date.
