One of the most destructive forces we have amongst us is the 'Middle man'. If we consider the Art industry we have the Curator and Gallery as the conduit between the Art and the Audience. We can see why the state of our art's are as they are.
In Hinduism the Brahaman placed themselves between the creator and the self. A relationship with the divine could only be conducted through them. One can see why Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism broke free from this system of mass control. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born into a Hindu family, through his wisdom and his relationship with the creator, he refounded the belief that we are all One, It's just that through the limitations of our minds and distracted diversions we have forgotten. We each have a choice to indiviudally nurture this blissful relationship to the ultimate infinity.
A major aspect of any colonisation, is to delete a nations belief system, to destory its history and replace it with their story. In a couple of generation thier story will be the only story. Colonisation is a long game.
Simran is a recital meditation that repeatedly chants the Creators Naam as a mode of rememberance. It can be a blissfull solo activity, and when a community Jap's in unison it's power is tangible.
