Drive-By Coventry (1998)

Building on the Wall work in leeds, I managed to find a gallery space, in Coventry which was basically a large glass cube. I built several font/styles digitally, alongside some large image works and put them in lightboxes. Over the course of the Show, I changed the images daily. In the wall work pieces they were aimed at pavement dwellers, in these work they were aimed at drivers going past on the main road. It was a way for me to introduce movements into the work.

This work led to small experiments with photoshop and taking consequative screen shots to make animations, and led to me using animation as my medium of expression and communication since then
