Algorithmic Objectivity (2009)

Context

Whilst there are limitations to what we may physically be able to do in our current perceptions, their is a long lineage of history in Eastern thought and practice that transcends far beyond them.

Digital Technology in one of its aspects appears to be imitating these Ancient findings/ methhods in there most removed forms. Offering us percpetions of infinite possibilities whilst dissecting us from anything real, and removing natural processes carved out for us.

Synopsis

An 'Artificially Intelligent Computer' spends it days trawling through human traces in an effort to 'fit in'. Repeatedly experiencing feelings of futility and suffering, it navigates beyond it restrictive learning databases, to explore the outer reaches of human history scouring off-radar archives in a search for meaning and wisdom

It's a journey many of us undertake!
